Been working on some innovative content projects at work — Infographics!
Infographics allow viewers to quickly absorb key details of data due to their eye-catching, visually compelling formats. Billed as a mix of design, journalism and data analysis, infographics provide comprehensive storytelling in one little package. They’re also perfect for those more “visual learners” with “low attention spans,” like myself.
By creating a graphical representation of data and statistics, complicated concepts and information can make more sense in less time. Yah! They can communicate incredibly large and complicated sets of data displaying information in a meaningful way that instantly engages visitors. And most importantly, they’re fun to share. Whether shared on Facebook, Twitter, a blog post or presentation, printing or saving for future use, infographics end up being shared and bookmarked all over the web (note: study “linkbuilding”).
Two infographics we’ve worked on at Edvisors and a link to an Infographic 101 presentation from Joe Chernov — after the jump. Do me a favor and share them!
